Art Salon with Crosscut

Art and Technology: The Democratization of Art

Join us for presentations and discussions on the topic on the Democratization of Art presented by Crosscut and KTCS9 for the 3rd part of their Art and Technology Salon.  Artists working in digital arts will present their latest work and discuss how technology has changed the way they work.  This should prove to be a lively discussion with 5 local artists addressing the state of technology in art and the opportunities and sometimes negative outcomes of wider access to technology, whether in the creation of artwork, the ability to sell artwork, and just getting artwork out to the world.

Participating artists include Ginny Ruffner, Tivon Rice, Aaron Litchner, Iskra Johnson (Drizl artist) and Brent Watanabe.

September 20th, 6:30-8pm

At Galvanize, 111 S Jackson St, Seattle 98104
